Biography

 

Robin Le Garsmeur is French by adoption, of Vietnamese origin. The piano entered his life at the age of 11. After a degree in economics and mathematics at Paris Dauphine University, he decided to devote himself to music and joined the class of Jean-Marc Luisada and Caroline Sageman at the École Normale de Musique in Paris. In 2018, he entered the class of Jean-Marie Cottet, and continued in 2020 with his concert degree at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris, where he also studied chamber music in the classes of Pascal Proust and Jacques Saint-Yves. At the same time, he received advice from Laurent Cabasso. He performs regularly in solo recitals and in chamber music, having notably had the opportunity to play at the Salle Cortot (Paris), at the Église Saint-Merry (Paris), at the Château de Ville d'Avray, in  the Regard du Cygne Auditorium (Paris), at the Festival des Musicales de Blanchardeau (22), or even at the Palace of Italian Institutions in Tangier.
